I received my professional degree from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Architecture. After taking my Master’s degree from MIT School of Architecture in 1998, I have founded Arkitera Architecture Center in Turkey, together with two of my colleagues. I was the director of the centre until 2011.
Now I am workings as a professional photographer and as a communications consultant based in London. I am also the co-founder of the Yercekim Architectural Photography.
Having a professional degree in architecture allow me to communicate better with my clients while photographing their buildings and properties.
I prefer to talk and understand the needs of my clients before giving a fixed quote. Each building, property or place requires a good understanding of the needs of the client and a well studied scouting beforehand.
I like to capture the waypeople interact with the built environment and traces of time and movement of people on architectural elements.
I usually work alone and also do the post-processing of my photographs by myself. I'm flexible in terms of schedule and rates to meet my clients' calendar and budgets.
