I received my professional degree from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Architecture. After taking my Master’s degree from MIT School of Architecture in 1998, I have founded Arkitera Architecture Center in Turkey, together with two of my colleagues. I was the director of the centre until 2011.

Currently I am workings as a professional photographer and as a communications manager based in London. I am also the co-founder of the Yercekim Architectural Photography in Turkey.

I like to capture the way people involve and communicate with the architecture. Scales issues, traces of time and remnants of the interaction of humans with the built environment attract my attention. Apart from my commissioned works, I enjoy creating visual narratives on architecture and built environment.
