Architectural education starting at 1990 in Istanbul Technical University, School of Architecture. Graduate education in the same school until 1994 together with the research asistantship. Master’s degree at MIT History-Theory-Criticism department with the thesis “Modernism and Dwelling. Residential Architecture in Early Republican Turkey“.  Several architectural offices until July, 2000. Founded Arkitera Architecture Center with  two colleagues in 2000. Currently responsible from the international relations and education department of the center. Also acts as a creative director for the visual materials of the center. Served as a consultant for three years for the Architecture and Urban Design Projects in Istanbul 2010, European Capital of Culture Agency. A regular contributer to A10 architecture magazine and  occasionaly writes on architecture and urbanism issues in various magazines.
